ThPNG TourismIndustry Association, andthe Tourism Promotion Authority, is hosting a tourism expo atthe Gateway Hotel in Port Moresby, called Lukin PNG Nau 2013.
The eventofocusing on Tourism in PNG and its challenges, is open tothe association’s members and industry stakeholders, as well asthe general public.
The Lukin PNG Nau Tourism Expo brings togther local exhibitors as well as local and international travel agents, wholesalers and travel magazines.
Encouraging lively discussions and feedback from industry stakeholders and entities,the exposition was welcomed after a long absence collectively bythe industry stakeholders present at today’sIndustry Day
Some ofthe key impediments that affectthe country’s TourismIndustry, such as Law and Order and high travel costs, were addressed bythe Papua New GuineaTourism Promotion Authority, a statutory body responsible for marketin PNG as a desirable tourist destination.
The four day eventowhich began on Wednesday and concludes on Saturday with a public expo, addresses some ofthe challenges faced bythe TourismIndustry.
