The National Court yesterday has ruled in favor ofthe member for middle Ramu and Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Tommy Tomscoll.
Justice Gibbs Salika dismissedthe election petition bythe petitioner Ben Semri filed in October last year.
Ben Semri alleged thatthere were illegal and irregular practices bythe polling officials andthe electoral commission.
However, Justice Salika saysthe allegations lack substantive evidence and dismissedthe case in favor of Mr. Tomscoll.
Mr. Tomscoll is happy withthe decision and hopes to carry on with his work.
