Australia'’s Resources Minister Gary Gray acknowledged he wrongly told guests attending a Minerals Council of Australia dinner at Parliament House on Wednesday thatthe anti-apatheid leader was dead.

Nelson Mandela has been placed on life support, CNN reported.
The former South African President’s health remained critical for the fourth consecutive day as tribal lLeadersreportedly were warned to prepare for his death.
According to Sky News’ chief correspondent in South Africa, multiple sources confirmed that Mandela is no longer able to breath unassisted.
He has been undergoing treatmentoincluding renal dialysis, atthe Mediclinic Heart Hospital in Pretoria since June 8.
According to Reuters, South African President Jacob Zuma was scheduled to travel to Mozambique today, however; he cancelled that trip to visit Nelson Madela atthe hospital.
