“There is no Health without Mental Health,” this was the catch line on the first day of the “Changing Futures Conference now underway in Port Moresby.
The Conference was told mental illness alone affects 75% of young people worldwide and it accounts for a high number of suicides.
This trend was outlined by Dr Vikram Patel of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
