This will assist the 21 year old Jason Hayeu from Manus to challenge Filipino Dado Cabintoy in a re-match of the International Bantam weight Belt come July.
Hayeu is a professional boxer who fought well against Philippines Dado Cabintoy in the International Bantam weight Belt last year.
However Young Hayeu went down in the last round when Cabintoy gave him a kidney kick. The fight was requested to be called off due to technical faults with the lights but that did not happen.
Minister for Sport Justin Tkatchenko today came on board through the PNG Sport Federation Sport Enhancement Program to assist in making Hayeu’s dream come true.
PNG Boxing Federation is working on getting everything set and once all are in place, the re-match will be stage in July.
