Top Snooker referee follows up on referee’s course

A Class one snooker referee and examiner has arrived in Port Moresby to follow up on a referee’s course held in August while inspecting facilities for the 2013 BSP Oceania billiards and snooker championships.

PNG Billiards and Snooker Association public relations officer John Chan says Adam Wyard from Australia is a world class referee having been assessed by international examiners and awarded the International Billiards and Snooker Federation (IBSF) world referee status.

Wyard’s visit is to follow up on the referees that missed out on accreditation which Frank Galanos conducted in August this year.
