PNG David Browne to FIA

PNG’s David Browne, son of the late Cartoonist Bob Browne is the second youngest player ever to be named on a squad taking part in the FIFA Club World Cup.

Young Browne made it into Auckland’s squad for the Japan Challenge this Saturday.  

Born and raised in Papua New Guinea, 17 year old David Browne has developed his passion for Soccer.

Many might not know who David Browne is. Well, young Browne is the son of the famous PNG Cartoonist late Bob Brown, creator for Mr. Grass Roots.

Taking part in the code at a very young age, David has developed his skills in the sport.

He was a representative of the Under 17 PNG International Team to the Oceania football Championship and took out the player of the year.

Now playing for the Auckland Football Club, David was selected to represent the Club against Japan in the FIFA Club World Cup in Japan this Saturday.

In the history of FIFA Club World Cup, David is the second youngest player to play forward behind the Striker.

David is confident and is set to take the next and important step in his career in the sport of Soccer.
