MP’s support Grace Period Extension

The Bill to Amend the Constitution for an extension of the Grace period from eighteen months to thirty months had its first reading on Tuesday afternoon.

The proposed law to amend section-145, subsection-4 of the constitution received a full support from all members of parliament.

It aims to give the government an opportunity to deliver its policies and ensure political stability.

Parliament has been advised to return after two months for a second reading.
