Malaysian Higher Education proposes National Open University sits

A fact finding mission from the Ministry of Malaysian Higher Education visited two possible sites for the establishment of the National Open University yesterday.

The proposed sites are Bautama and Barakau in the Central Province.

Findings from this mission will be used to draft a Memorandum of Agreement to be signed in January 2013.

The open campus concept is in line with the Vision 2050 for human development.

The Malaysia Ministry of Higher Education proposed to develop technical cooperation in the areas of Higher Education, Technical Education especially in Open University modeling.
