Rumours about a possible coup taking place today have been dispelled by the PNG Defence Force.
An email which was circulated around by an unknown person said there was going to be a cue staged by the PNG Defence Force.
The Defence force through the Commander, Brigadier General, and Francis Agwi dispelled the rumours Wednesday afternoon.
Commander Agwi stated that nothing of such will happen and citizens and the international; community in the county should not fear.
Normal security will be provided for the formation of the government today in Parliament.
