Cricket: PNG remain undefeated

PNG Cricketers on Scholarships in Australia completed their third win on the trot with a comprehensive 136-run win over Tweed Heads to stay atop of the Webb Shield competition.

Openers Assad Vala & Tony Ura continued their explosive partnership with several shots that offered assistance for the bowlers.

The team work was impressive pushing the score up over 200.

The spinners were then introduced and steam rolled the remaining batsmen to pick up two bonus points and stay atop of the Webb Shield ladder.

PNG Titans plays defending champions Gold Coast next month.
