Cole’s Expectations

by Elijah Lavett – EM TV Sport, Port Moresby

PNG under 20 Women’s coach, Lisa Cole, has explained clearly what she expects from the girls during training.

Coach Cole has made it clear to the team that they are all fighting for a spot to make it into the final squad. She added that finishing drills during training and plays are an integral part in deciding the final team.

Coach Cole says the players must fight to earn a spot in the team, and show their full strength during training.

One of the players, Tetori Robert, says being in the camp can be challenging at times but making it into the team and the starting 11 is what everyone is after.

The girls have been able to balance training and school, by having training sessions in the morning. They were able to attend the Goroka Grammar School for studies; Cole thanked the Schools administration for their support.
