Manager arrested for Verbally Abusing Employee

An expatriate manager of a supermarket chain in Lae  has been arrested and charged for verbally abusing a Papua New Guinean  employee.

The Filipino national was taken to the China Town police station late yesterday (15 January, 2019) after he allegedly swore at one of his subordinates.

The matter was reported to Chinatown police who then proceeded to arrest and charge the man for the verbal abuse.

The abuse happened in full view of the public with witnesses  expressing that they were also angered by the managers conduct.
