Stop and Shop has announce the winner for its Win a Banana Boat Promotion today (10 September, 2018).
Patrick Tore Jnr from Hula and Kerema was announced the competition winner of the 23 foot Banana Boat with a 40 horse powered outboard motor.
The competition ran from July 17 to August 31 saw over 50,000 entries from Stop and Shop loyal customers who spent K40 or more to enter the draw.
Mr Tore Jnr spent K98 at Stop and Shop Waigani Central and was picked the lucky winner today.
A shock Tore says he was happy as it is his first time to win any competition.
He added he entered a draw a numerous times and thanked Stop and Shop for choosing him.
The promotion created a big hype in all 8 stores and was a way for Stop and Shop to reward their loyal customers.
The draw was witnessed by police, members of the media and shoppers at SNS Waigani Central.
Stop and Shop has also encouraged its loyal customers and potential shoppers to keep shopping with them for more promotions.
Currently, they have the ‘Win a dream trip to any destination in PNG’ promotion running.
