Community Leaders Want Eluh to Remain and Complete Work in SHP

By Jack Lapauve Jr – EMTV News, Port Moresby

Business and community leaders of Southern Highlands want Thomas Eluh to remain as the Provincial Administrator.

They say the province must not face another political disaster with political appointments. The leaders are calling on the National Government and National Executive Council (NEC) to be fair and let Eluh complete his leadership. Their concern comes as rumours are in the air of appointing another Administrator for Southern Highlands.

They say Eluh has done a tremendous effort in grinding the public service mechanism and he must continue his work.

Southern Highlands has been hit hard with many issues; the Election-related violence, the recent earthquake and now the leadership of the Provincial Administrator.

The concerned leaders say the Government and NEC must be fair in making the next decision for the province. They say all they want is for people not to face another disaster but to receive help from provincial authorities.
