Five lucky winners will be K1,000 richer after their names were drawn in the Telikom Top-up and Win cash weekly promotion.
The company, who recently rolled out its 4G Network in the Ialibu Pangia district, in the Southern Highlands, is aiming to provide the best service to its users.
Today’s draw was the 11th one since the promotion started, and Telikom customers have eight more chances to qualify.
This was the second draw for 2018 where five Telikom user numbers were randomly chosen by an automated system.
Each winner will be contacted directly through their numbers.
In total, K100, 000 will be given away, and with 11 draws done. The remaining K45,000 is still up for grabs until February.
The lucky members chosen were Telikom customers who bought K20, K50 and K100 Rait prepaid cards to qualify.
Telikom’s Chief Risk Officer, Russell Tato, said Telikom customers are registered when they purchase their sim cards, and that has made it easy for them to track their customers.
Tato stressed that Telikom has been proactive in terms of registering their customers and as a result, complying with NICTA regulations in terms of SIM card registration has not been an issue for them.
Telikom’s Manger of Products & Business Development, Corney Alone, added that Telikom is looking at expanding its 4G coverage throughout the country, as it hopes to connect PNG with the rest of the world by focusing on smart phone users.
