Barbara Kaime Takai, will clock 25 years of service in the aviation industry.
Her journey is full of challenges and achievements, one that can be most memorable and yet unforgotten.
Aunty Barbara is a popular name in Goroka Town, Eastern Highlands Province. She is the Agent Manager for PNG Air in Goroka.
This year is her silver jubilee anniversary of service with PNG Air, since the beginning of this company, from the then days of Milne Bay Airlines – MBA and Airlines PNG.
The new ATR aircraft maiden flight to Goroka yesterday is something Aunty Barbara will always treasure.
She told EMTV News, since she joined the airline industry; she had never seen a brand new aircraft.
This is a milestone in her employment career.
Aunty Barbara was congratulated by the PNG Air Management led by Chief Executive Officer, Muralee Siva, on her loyal service to the company.
