2013 Commander’s Cup Launched

The 201PNG Defense Force Commander’s Rugby Union Cup was launched atthe Murray Barracks in Port Moresby overthe weekend.

Defending Champions Engineers Bettalion will be out in full force to retainthe cup.

 

It’s a biannual tournament which brings soldiers togther for a friendy match of rugby union.

 

It won’t be an easy grab; teams have being preparing for the past three months.

 

Most of all,the game is all about promoting lLeadersip and demonstrating teamwork both on and off field.

 

Nine units will be participating including Defending Champions Engineers Bettalion from Igam Barracks in Lae who will be out in full force to retainthe cup.

 

Teams are placed in draws and were selected into Pool A and Be

 

Host Air Transport Wing was overwhelmed to stagethe tournament.
