Suburban League Prepares

With the Southern Zone Confederation Cup just two months away, POM Suburban Rugby League has confirmed they will be bringing their selection squad into a training camp next weekend to prepare for their trial matches.

The selection trial matches will be held between August 18-22, in which three final teams will be selected; two men’s and one women’s side.

The women’s team already has a tentative line up and is still awaiting their trial matches before a final squad can be named.

Meanwhile, both the Chairman and Vice Chairman of POM Suburban League are still waiting on sponsorship confirmation from the NCDC Sports Desk.

Coming up this weekend, the Suburban League will be heading into Round 10 of competition.
