The SP Sport Awards has reached one hundred and twenty two nominations in fourteen categories.
The Sport Photo ofthe Year Award receivedthe most number with eighteen entries.
The extended deadline for the nomination period which ended last Friday, withnessed a huge number of nominations fromthe public for their deserved sporting personalities.
The organizing committee is glad to see many members oPNG’s sporting community recognized throughthe nominations andthe Selection Panel.
The involvement of Deloitte who have come on board this year to assist inthe selection process will play a role as one of oversightosimilar tothe role played by organizations with global awards such asthe Oscars, Grammys and Espys.
Winners will be announced onthe 25th of next month.
