PNG Amateur Boxing Coach, Ricky Berua, will be traveling tomorrow morning to Beisbane for Boxing Queensland’s first National level One Coaching Course.
Ricky will attend a short course that will run for two days upon receiving a National Level One Coaching Certificate.
As a Boxing Coach, Ricky has been coaching his students’while preparing himself for his visit to Australia for a two day course in Bandi, QLD.
This is where it all starts for Ricky and his boxing team prior tothe lead up to upcoming events andthe 2015 Pacific Games.
Mr. Berua will bethe first Coach to be recognized as a National Level One Boxing Coach which will give our young boxersthe opportunity to be trained under national coaching criteria.
Mr. Berua is certain and confident that as a recognized coach he will be able to train future boxersthe right skills and techniques for upcoming international events.
Mr. Berua also said that withthe certificate in place, he will be able to coach at national levels as well.
