Four National Title Belts are up for grabs inthe Pro Boxing National Championships.
The event will take place this Sunday in Port Moresby.
Winners will have a chance to participate in international matches.
Participating fighters are prepared for this Sunday’s Fight after submitting medical reports and required documents tothe Pro Boxing Commission.
The event will be staged at SportInn with eight undercard fighters to kick startthe show.
Agone Raio and John Kala will fight it out inthe 57kg followed by Andaripa Mon and Ali Ipai inthe 70kg.
Wanigela’s John Oscar will take on young John Harris inthe 60kg while old timers Andy Emex and Henry George testtheir fitness and tactics inthe same weight category.
This is a lead up tothe international event which will be hosted early next month.
President Nick Calibud is expecting a tough challenge from all fighters and has encouragedthe public to come along and support.
Meantime preparations are underway for a successful event.
