The SP PNG Hunters currently sit in third spot on the Intrust Super Cup ladder behind the Burleigh Bears and Radcliffe Dolphins.
Following this weekend’s match, the hunters have two more games before the finals of the Intrust Super Cup 2016.
For this weekend’s match, coach Michael Marum has added Philimon Kimisive, Edward Goma and Stargroth Amean to an extended 20-man squad.
Aside from these three additions, Marum has retained his side from last weekend’s win against the top of the table Burleigh Bears who have subsequently dropped to second place.
The Hunters left this morning for Cairns after enjoying three consecutive home matches, in which they won all three.
The SP PNG Hunters have to dig deep to continue their winning streak when they go head to head with the Townsville Blackhawks this weekend.
