Dadi Toka Jnr wins Motu Koita Chairman’s Seat

Newly-elected Chairman of the Motu-Koita Assembly, Dadi Toka Jnr, says he plans to work with the 16 newly-elected members of the Assembly to help them deliver their policy platforms.

He was declared Chairman today (15 October,2018) at the Sir John Guise Indoor Complex.

Mr Toka polled 6,214 at the 7th exclusion. His runner up was the only female candidate for chairperson, Beatrice Mahuru, who polled 2,974 votes, and Miria Ikupu Naime was third runner up with 2,458 votes.
