Rufer saysthere’s massive opportunity and talent in PNG for women’s football.

Wynton is a retired New Zealand footballer who played as a striker.

He spent most of his professional career in Germany with ''Werder Be men'', winning a total of six titles.

He was namedthe Oceania Footballer ofthe Century bythe Oceania Football Confederation and during his short time in Port Moresby; Rufer is impressed withthe soccer talent.

The code of soccer has massive potential to rise up beyond professional standards and with a vision to make football development a priority; this can be a reality in PNG

Vice President ofthPNG Football Association Linda Wonuhali said it was encouraging to see new franchise teams makethe grand final against 8th time reigning kings Hekari United.

With young players coming throughthe ranks to meet world football standards such as POM FC’s Alwin Kmolong,the Telikom National Soccer League could well be onthe right track.
