Former Police Commissioner, Geoffrey Vaki, appeared for mention at the Waigani Committal Court, this morning.
Vaki appeared before Senior Magistrate Cosmos Bidar, on one count of conspiracy.
Police prosecutor, Senior Sergeant Koniu Polon, told the court, police were still conducting investigations and asked for the matter to be adjourned.
Vaki’s lawyer agreed with the adjournment stating that it will give time for the police to complete investigations and for him to file appropriate submissions.
The committal court extended Vaki’s bail and the matter returns to court on March 10.
