The Morobe Rugby Football Union kicked off a tournament last weekend atthe Scrum Oval in Lae.
Twenty local teams inthe province have registered inthe tournament.
The tournament seeks to find local talented players, to take part inthe upcoming Trans-Highway challenge in Lae this April.
This is also to prepare a Morobe team to representthe province in future national tournaments aroundthe country.
