There are to be over 250 police officers deployed to all provinces in the Southern Divisional Command, by the 17th of June.
This will be the final deployment of disciplinary forces in preparations for polling.
The final deployment was announced this morning (15/06/17), by Police Commissioner Gari Baki in a joint parade between the Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary, Defence Force and Correctional Services.
These officers will be deployed to Milne Bay, Northern, Central and Gulf provinces.
