ThPNG Football Association’s Centre of Excellence programme has paved way for young talent inthe country.
The Centre of excellence is a football programme for development to a healthy lifestyle in schools and communities.
The Centre of Excellence is a programme for developing young players to live a healthy lifestyle intheir schools and communities and to buildtheir career in playing football.
This programme is a FIFA and OFC initiative throughthPNG Football Association in Port Moresby to develop potential talents withthe ability and skills to be football players.
Those children who displaythe skills going through this programme as a next stage beyondthe Just Play Programme focusing on training young players aged 13 to 15 with quality football techniques.
The programme will run for a couple of weeks beforethese players are put into teams to take part in a competition, assessed and selected to take part inthe academy programme to futher develop skills in playing professional football.
