Sixty-six women in the Yangoru-Saussia District have successfully completed a Life Skills Training hosted by the Sausso Council of Women at Kubalia Station.
The training, held last week, was aimed at developing, empowering, and support women to improve skills in basic financial literacy for business activities, sewing, spiritual enrichment, and life skills to improve their living standard.
Sausso Council of Women Interim President, Matilda Mifa says a second training will be conducted.
In the future, participants will be awarded certificates of successful completion of the courses.
The training was funded through the Division of Community Development by the East Sepik Governor Allan Bird.
