Lae Police Make Over 100 Arrests During Easter Operations

Lae Police have made a total of 107 arrests, out of the 81 various complaints registered, during the Easter weekend.

Lae Metropolitan Commander Chief Superintendent, Anthony Wagambie Jnr, says random roadblocks and foot patrols were conducted during the day and night.

Police conducting night roadblocks, were able to arrest several drunk drivers and other traffic offenders.

Other drivers were detained for alcohol-related offences.
