Kumuls meet PM before Game

Before meeting the Australians on the field, the PNG’s Prime Minister’s 13 had one last pre-kick off routine to complete. It was almost ceremonial.

They met with the man who currently holds the title, Peter O’Neill for a brief meet and a photo session.

A number of other ministers were also there at the Gateway Hotel in Port Moresby where the players presented Mr O’Neill and his family, jerseys and invited them to be part of the game.

Mr O’Neill said sports are a great way to unite the whole country. Rugby league is a sport loved by many in PNG and his government will continue to support it.
