Enga Governor Peter Ipatas wants young people of Enga to be exposed to analytical thinking through debates.
And what better way but for them to participate inthe annual IBe School Debate. Governor Ipatas has pledged his support for the third year.
Governor Ipatas said funding was sourced from Enga’s Children’s Fund to enable students’from Enga to participate in this year’s National Debate Competition. He believesthe debate has benefits in developing young people.
IBe Director and Founder Mick Nades said commended Governor Ipatas for supportingthe Debate for the third time.
IBe School Debate Coordinator Vanie Davies usedthe opportunity to give an update onthe National Debate competition.
About 12 provinces will be participating in this year’s competition. The Central lag ofthe competition ended today with Mt Diamond Secondary winingthe competition.
