His Excellency, The Governor-General, Chief Sir Bob Dadae has signed in four heads of departments and provincial administrators today (August 2) at the ‘Employment Contract’ signing ceremony held at the Government House in Port Moresby.
These heads of departments and provincial administrators were signed in for a period of 4 years.
- Andrew Liliura – as Secretary of Department of Commerce and Industry;
- Barbara Age – as Secretary of Department of Foreign Affairs;
- Wilson Matara – as Provincial Administrator of East New Britain; and
- Clement Malau – as Provincial Administrator of East Sepik.
The appointments of the heads of departments and provincial administrators by the National Executive Council were given legal clearance by the State Solicitor and given legal effect by publication in the National Gazette.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by Acting Secretary of Department of Personnel Management, Ms Taies Sansan.
Member for Rabaul, Dr Allan Marat, East Sepik province Governor, Allan Bird, Member for Wosera-Gawi, Joseph Yopyyopy, Member for Ambunti-Drekikir, Johnson Wapunai and Member for Angoram, Salio Waipo also attended the ceremony.
