Hebou Shield Tourney: BSP in the Lead

The 50 over Hebou Shield Tournament kicked off overthe weekend with BeP, Air Niugini and Hebou all registering wins.

After round one ofthe competition, BeP is on top ofthe ladder.

BeP Hearts proverd too good for Pacific MMI Marlins brushingthem aside by 6 wickets. Afterthe first game onthe weekend,the percentage gained recorded BeP top ofthe ladder.

The T20 champions Hebou Hammers startedtheir 50 over campaign with an impressive 6 wicket win over Digara Diggers while Air Niugini Jets held on for a comfortable victory over Brian Bell Bulldogs by 32 runs.

Hebou Hammers is on second spotoAir Niugini Jets on third placing followed by Brian Bell Bulldogs and Digara Diggers.

Round two ofthe competition this weekend sees Hebou Hammer take on Air Niugini Jets, BeP Hearts up against Digara Diggers and Pacific MMI Marlines will challenge young brigade,the Brian Bell Bulldogs .
