A delegate fromthe Australian Parliament has arrived inthe country on Monday on a Good Will visit.
The delegate is made up of two MP’sfromthe Labor Party and a representative fromthe Australian Senate.
Their first visit was with Treasurer Don Polye.
Australia has been very close partners to Papua New Guineafor a long time which we’ve got an historical relationship that goes back a very long way.
The visitors say it is an exciting time for Papua New Guineain terms of this economy and growth and that’s something we take deal of pride in, because we have a very strong trade relationship.
Overthe next few daysthey will discussthe economies ofthe two countries and how both can strenthentheir relationships.
The delegate will also visit Lae, and meet withthe business communities before departing on Saturday.
