After losing by 106 runs to Hong Kong yesterday in the first of three ODI matches, the Hebou Barramundis are now recuperating, as they look forward to their next encounter tomorrow.
Though they lost the first match, Skipper Assad Vala said they had the opportunity to assess their opponent’s prowess, and are preparing to bring their best to the crease, tomorrow.
Yesterday’s match saw the Hong Kong execute brilliant bowling techniques that cost the Barras 3 consecutive wickets, one of which was the last of the top order batsmen, Tony Ura.
This win for Hong Kong may be seen as a comeback since their last meet in Townsville, in 2014, which saw the Barras defeating them to claim ODI status.
Tomorrow, the Barramundis will have to prove that they are a side to be reckoned with.
