In this edition of Women’s World we take a look at the economic empowerment of women. A group of women in the Rigo District of Central Province, have united under one banner to assist the rural women of their communities, to become economically empowered.
Lastly, we take a look at Marie Stopes PNG, through their Rights at Every Level Project, are working to support health providers in ensuring that requirements in the national family planning policy are put into effect, and that the provision of family planning services in PNG are more youth-friendly to allow for more young people to feel comfortable to exercise their rights to have access to family planning information and services.
