TISA Kwik Cash

With the high cost of living and difficult lending options affecting the PNG workforce, the Teachers Savings and Loans Society (TISA) has come up with a new product on the market.

Yesterday TISA launched its Kwik Cash product targeting public servants.

The product was created due to accumulating requests and queries on borrowing options by members and non-members of TISA.

Papua New Guinea has more than 90,000 public servants, more than half of that workforce experience financial constraints.

The Kwik Cash launching is TISA’s newest ready-credit loan product on the market where public servants can take loan without necessary savings with an interest rate of 1% per month or 12% per year.

TISA’s General Manager Retail Financial Services Ariel Carpio said the product targets non TISA members.

Mr Carpio said this innovative product provides solutions and comfort for public servants in difficult financial times.

The launch was witnessed by TISA’s senior management, staff, members and the general public.

The Kwik Cash product also saw its first customer lined up yesterday straight after the launch.
