Tabubil Secondary School is situated inthe heart ofthe operations of Ok Tedi Mining Limited. Its main support comes from OTML.
Duringtheir 24th Graduation, School Principal, Galama Laka, proudly announced thattheir School has performed well in Western Province.
Tabubil Secondary has topped ther schools inthe Western Province for the Grade Ten exams this year. More than half ofthe grade 10 students’performed well and will bethe second batch of Grade elevens in Tabubil Secondary next year.
Out ofthe 177 graduates, 91 were selected to continue on to grade eleven.
Mr. Laka congratulated those who have acheived continuation, and encouraged those who missed outonot to lose hope but to pursue success through ther means.
OTML Managing Director, Nigel Parker, was present atthe graduation. Mr. Parker urged students’to take advantage oftheir opportunities to excel intheir studies.
