The Pre- season softball Nancy Kamara Cup batted off at the Bisini Softball Diamond in Port Moresby on Saturday.
The annual Pre- season competition witnessed some fine softball action between reigning Champions Bears and Chebu.
Looking outstanding in their maroon and yellow striped uniform, Bears put up an exciting game against Chebu on diamond two.
Bears Pitcher did not hesitate in pitching hard balls to its opponents Chebu making it difficult for the batter.
Chebu batted but the balls went up high and straight down into the Bears hands.
Chebu responded with some good runs but Bears still maintained its game putting up a good match.
On diamond three, Stingers in white and red went up hard against the Wantoks with some good batting and runs of which few home runs were counted.
The match was slightly tough with a lot of miss fielding.
First weekend games ends and competition continues next week.
