Six fighters have been identiflied inthe recent Kickboxing 8- man Tournament in Kokopo to take part intheWorld Title fight next month.
These fighters will train withthe Port Moresby team in preparation for the main event.
John Tomar, Ronny Mthew, Chris Mareve, Henry BenatoWilsie Willie and Jeffery Miriori werethe selected fighters out ofthe 31 participants who participated inthe Kokopo Heat 2 ofthe 8-Man Tournament.
Whilethey prepare to travel to Port Moresby,the team here is hard at training.
Rickson Yamo known asthe Power House will be fighting for theWorld Title up against Finland Jarkko Jussila.
FortheIntercontinental title, Andy Samthe Beack Pather takes on Perit’sh Nigam fromIndia ,Jeffery Dakathe Iron Man will challenge Australian Ricky Mellor and Kaupa Omena will take onIndonesian Eka Areka.
While Johnathan Tuhu will fightIndonesian Alfa Tobagus inthe South Pacific Title.
The world Kickboxing event will be held in Port Moresby onthe 1st of June and tickets for general public are going on for K30, K150 for ringside, K300 for Family of 5 and K3, 000 for corporate table of ten heads.
