Port Moresby Cricket U19 Grand Final

Dulux United proved that they were the better team today, defeating IBS Poreporena by 133 runs after 10 overs in the POM Cricket U19 20 overs grand final.

After defying 10 other teams throughout the season, Dulux United came out on top in the final despite losing 3 batsmen early in the match when IBS Poreporena Bowler, Willie Nao bowled them out consecutively.

Dulux United landed 133 runs in 10 overs and secured themselves the 2016 POM Cricket U19 Title.

With the likes of Nou Rarua who acquired the highest runs of 42, and Sinaka Arua another 27, it was a sealed deal for Dulux United.

Bore Morea from the IBS Poreporena side manged the highest of 29 knock out runs but that was still not enough to beat their opponents.

Despite losing 3 batsmen consecutively after being out done by the IBS Poreporena Bowler Willie Nao, Dulux United came back stronger and finished with an additional 15 runs made by Heagi Toua.

With just 124 runs in 10 overs, IBS Poreporena is now the runner up for this year.
