A Pilipino man is in a serious condition after a road accident in Port Moresby.
The accident occurred along the Poreporena freeway on Tuesday afternoon.
A concrete mixer truck was travelling towards down town when its brakes failed. The driver thought it was wise to turn the vehicle to the other lane. In the process it hit the vehicle driven by the Pilipino man.
Eye witnesses say the CRV smashed into the rocky hill. The injured man suffered serious injuries to his head.
