Police Commissioner, Gari Baki, says he is confident the RPNGC will deliver a successful 2017 general elections.
Baki says, police are well prepared for the elections despite the limited resources they have.
Baki also revealed RPNGC has a shortage of manpower.
But they are planning to do a call out for people to join them as reserves or auxiliaries. This will increase the number of officers.
Provincial Police Commanders have been tasked to screen for people who will be applying for election duties.
The Commissioner will meet with the divisional commanders on the 18th of this month.
He hopes the funds allocated to them can be accessed so that divisional commanders can get themselves into the election process.
But Baki says he has every confidence they will deliver a successful election this year.
