PM Express Condolences on Flight MH 17

Prime Minister Peter O’Neill, has expressed his deepest condolences to families of the passengers on board the Malaysian Flight 17.

The PM echoed this sentiMen’s of this international community in calling for a full investigation into the cause of the incident.

He said, “ The loss of this aircraft has shocked the world and that was a tragic day for people for many nations”.

Prime Minister O&rsquO’Neill said, though no Papua New Guineans were on board the flight, Papua New Guinea will be praying with the families who lost their loved ones.

He said, there needs to be a united nations led investigation into the crash of this aircraft and if it found that the aircraft was brought down by human actions, justice must be sought.

The plane was shot down when it flew over Ukraine. The death toll has not yet been confirmed and it has been estimated that over a hundred Australians are were on board this flight.
