With Christmas aroundthe corner,the Nothern Province people gthered yesterday to embracethe Christmas spirit throughthe Oro Pondo Music Festival.
Treasury Minister, Don Polye, visitedthe township yesterday to launchthe 3 day festival.
The program is a first of its kind inthe province and is initiated by Higher Education Science and Research Minister and member for Ijivitari open, David Arore.
Treasury Minister and leader ofthe Triumph and Heritage Party Don Pomb Polye visitedthe township of Popondetta yesterday to officiatethe festival.
Mr Polye was accompanlied by Director General of Higher Education Professor, David Kavanamur and Colonel WalterInuma.
Polye emphasized that youths, parents and public servants must each be responsible intheir conduct inthe Music Festival and embracethe initiative by Mr Arore.
Meanwhile Minister Arore’said,the Oro Pondo Music Festival is an event that will bringthe whole province togther in celebrating this Christmas.
The festival started yesterday and will end tomorrow.
