Prime Minister Peter O’Neill has called onthe private sector to increase investment in PNG
These werethe words Mr O’Neill stressed yesterday atthe opening ofthe new Prima facility in Lae Morobe Province.
Duringthe Prime Minister’s speech, Mr O’Neill stressed thaPNG has been identiflied as a prime location for investment inthe region.
O’Neill saidthe economy is doing well and will improver despite challenges faced.
The Prime Minister futher reinstated thatthe financial climate provided bPNG’s sound economy, is conducive for investors to increase investment throughoutthe country.
Mr O’Neill added thatthe priority ofthe O’Neill-Dion government is to have a stable governing mechanism in policies for the benefit ofthe people oPNG.
He assuredthe Lae business community that Lae will be maintained as a hub for business to prosper withthe current work improverments tothe road network, port expansion, highlands highway andthe Nadzab airport.
