NSL Venue change

Telikom National Soccer League competition will be played atthe Sir John Guise Stadium after successful negotiations withPNG Sport Foundation.

This includes Government’s support in offering free costs for the use of both Sir John Guise and Sir Ignatius Kilage Stadium in Lae.

Despite agreement reached by Port Moresby Soccer Association to make Besini Soccer ground home to Telikom National Soccer LeaguePNG Sport Foundation has given green light for the competition to be played at Sir John Guise Stadium until futher notice.

The National Government’s supports includedthe waiving of all costs associated withthe use of Sir John Guise Stadium and Sir Ignatius Kilage Stadium.

At Present,there isn’t a permanent NSL match venue.

Chairman ofthe Telikom National Soccer League Beard Isaac Lupari said to work with government to build an international class stadium which will becomethe home of soccer.  

The Beard said National Soccer League is important for the development ofthe code throughoutthe nation creating international player pathway.
