She is a pastor’s daughter and the eldest of 6 children.

Nispel was accepted into Martin Luther Seminary in 2006 and graduated with a diploma in Ministry in 2010.

Over the years she worked with church organizations and in 2017 she upgraded diploma in theology.

This year Nispel graduated with a degree in Theology.

Present during the ceremony was the Minister for Civil Aviation and Member for Kandep Open, Alfred Manase who along with Mapai Tranport, helped sponsor Ms. Was.

Mr. Manase said he was happy to support Ms. Was, complete her studies.

Ms. Was acknowledged the support she got from the Minister and Mapai Transport company.

“It’s challenging… it will take 6 years to complete studies,… but I’m thankful to have supportive sponsors who have helped me through.” Said Ms Nispel.

Ms. Was urged other females to have an interest in theology and ministry.

“I’m the first female today to graduate with a degree in this newly updated curriculum, apart from me there’s no one… although there was one in the 80s.”

Martin Luther Seminary encourages more females to graduate with Bachelors and to see this as an opportunity for all.
